What do you love most about teaching this class?
What I love about teaching a HIIT class is that I can help motivate and inspire everyone to push themselves past their perceived limits! A HIIT class will definitely challenge you! I started the concept of doing HIIT at Peloton because I thought it would be a great way to offer efficient yet very effective workouts. Today it’s one of our most popular rides!
What can riders expect from this class?
Riders can expect a fun, intense and high-energy class that is efficient yet extremely effective! They will get an amazing fat burning workout in 30 min or less featuring bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by varying periods of low-intensity active rest. The benefits of HIIT come from its effects post-workout. HIIT has been shown to elevate the metabolism for hours after your workout, essentially turning you into a fat burning machine if done correctly and with adequate intensity.
