Incorporating regular exercise into your daily routine is a great way to relieve stress and stay physically fit. But, regardless of whether you're a newbie or a longtime Member, sometimes life gets in the way, wreaking havoc on your normal workout schedule. Luckily, you don't need to spend hours cross-training with back-to-back classes, thanks to Peloton's popular Bootcamp sessions, which combine strength and cardio.

“The most common response I get when I ask someone why they don’t work out is time,” says Peloton Tread instructor Adrian Williams. “If you’re in a time crunch, we offer Bootcamps as short as 30 minutes (or as long as 60). Thirty minutes is plenty of time to get your heart rate up!”

You may feel intimidated about trying something new, but you don’t need to be, Adrian says. There are Bootcamp classes for all levels—from beginner to advanced—so no matter where you are in your fitness journey, you’ll find plenty that meet your needs.

Bootcamp classes come with some additional benefits too. Combining cardio and strength training into one class not only saves you tons of time, but also keeps your body guessing so you don't adapt to doing the same workout over and over again. “Bootcamp is a great marriage of cardio, strength and conditioning,” Adrian says. “We offer a range of training from full body, core, lower and upper body Bootcamps. It is one of our most efficient ways to train.”

(Psst, if you don’t have a Bike or Tread, you can still try out Bootcamp classes by combining strength classes with outdoor running, plyometrics or other forms of cardio. )

Still not convinced? Just try one class and you'll be hooked, promises Adrian.

“Bootcamps diversify your portfolio,” he says. “They'll give you the most bang for your buck by exposing your weaknesses and making them your strengths.” Plus they can help you crush those long-term fitness goals: “When cardio and strength are paired together, they give great results. Some of those include making your day-to-day tasks easier, lowering your risk for chronic diseases, increasing bone density and building muscle.”

Best of all, these killer hybrid classes can also help you keep reaching new fitness goals. “Diversifying your training only gives more of an edge and helps you not to plateau,” Adrian says. “If you want to become a better cyclist or runner, we have the greatest instructors in the world who all have something special to offer each Member. You will never forget your first Bootcamp experience!”
